Michenuels restored a mahogany desk for a farm cottage in Norfolk, NR24. The desk was chemically stripped, with a new plinth crafted for the pedestal and a back rail made to match the original moulding. The desk was stained, sealed, and repolished. The worn black vinyl skiver was replaced with dark green leather featuring gold tooling, and the entire piece was finished with antiqued wax. The project took three weeks to complete.
