Michenuels restored an 1890 antique oak extending dining table with multiple leafs for Corrigan’s Restaurant, Mayfair, London W1K.
Purchased at auction for the restaurant’s exclusive Chef’s Table, this fine dining centrepiece underwent a full table restoration. The table was carefully stripped of its old, degraded finish, then sanded and meticulously prepared for staining.
After sealing, several topcoats were applied, followed by a wax finish to bring out the wood’s natural beauty. Now the pride of the private dining room, the restored table allows guests to enjoy an intimate view of the chefs at work while dining.
The project was completed in just 14 days, adding timeless elegance to the restaurant’s ambiance.
